Liz Rhaney

Liz Rhaney is an educator, filmmaker, writer, musician, and DJ. They create multisensory forms of storytelling and archivism with video and installations. Rhaney uses light and sound to sculpt a space into an experience shared by the audience. Her videos form an archive of moments, communities, and ideas. The care she puts into archiving the communities around her reflects the value she sees in those communities. They obtained their BFA in Graphic Design from Armstrong State University (now Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern University) and their MFA in Studio Art from Maine College of Art. They teach STEAM classes at Hyde School in Bath, Maine.
