THE RECORD is a digital text based archive that documents the creative process, thinking, and continued practices of the artists who participate in our Artist Residency programs. This archive project was designed to provide a permanent, educational record that connects the systems change work happening at Indigo Arts Alliance. “The Record” pairs an established Black arts writer with an alumni from our Artist Residency Program. It is a repository that looks back to previous local and global artists in residence to contextualize their work and practice since their time in residence at Indigo, creating space for a process of reflection and analysis of their work.
